So, I'm looking into getting a base Cube because I want a manual and there are no white w/black 6spd in the S model anywhere in the greater Southern California area... But, I'm worried about the two speaker thing. Has anyone added more speakers to their base model? Is the wiring already there? Is this an expensive mod? Help!!

There has been a few posts on people pulling the pillar facials and adding new tweets and adding new head units. I do not know if the wires are there for the aftermarket play. I can tell you the RockfordFosgate sub is a nice deal. I know I will get bashed, but for a stock 8" sub it does really well.

You can get the preferred package on an S so you can get the audio package and the manual trans. I will tell you first hand that you should get the CVT! Those dam Japanese have figured this out better than solving the Rubicks cube. Im doing 60 on the freeway and the engine is at 1200 RPM idle speed.

I wanted the S, but they don't have an S in white with black interior and a 6spd anywhere in SoCal. Oh well, decisions decisions.

Got my Cube. Correction... I got my wife a Cube. I'll post pics and everything later. I noticed on the test drive that the black interior lost that two-toned effect, but we're going to get the white trim kit. :D

Ok that was a pive I had There was no upgrade headunit. I have an S model which now has a 10" 160oz mag sub in the rear with a 1000 watt amp under passenger seat and soon 6f capacitor to be installed in the jack stash box in floor board.

Being the wife of a DB run competitor. The hubby was shocked at how crappy the sound was on the premium sound package. Or he may just be a little biased.

I can assure you my car goes BOOM. LOL and when the kids watch a movie its surround sound to the fullest.

Only thing I have to do is upgrade the headunit back to a DD with navigation. I miss that from the Box.

Just in case any of you guys are DIY'ers, an amp/subwoofer install is very easy on this vehicle...there is already a factory hole covered with a rubber plug that is just big enough to put a good size power wire through on the passenger side of the firewall tucked behind the strut tower just out of view. under the pass. front seat and under the carpet is the best place for an amp on this vehicle to hide completely. I did it with very few modifications.

I opted for the black cube with the black interior due to it being so nice inside! hah.. with a light interior all the "mistakes" and dirt shows up..
True but there's that little "not getting heat stroke in the summer" thing too. LOL!
