You are not seeing any body work imperfections because there is a 1/8 padding that was placed on the panel before I put the vinyle down...What you may see is that the glue did not take in a couple of spots and I went back and had to press down and apply heat to make it take....I have done body work for many years and I did not take the time to wet sand it because it did not need it with the padding. I did sand it with 1000 grit for fina before I added the paddingl. I may change the vinyle color because it kinda bothers me...
The vehicle has 3 12" woofers, 2 amps(one in the hatch and one in the floor under the pass seat), an extra battery under the driver's seat and every door has been rewired, The front doors have FOCAL 165 KRX2 with 300 watts going to them and rear doors have FOCAL 165 CA1 with 150 watts...The subs have 1000 watts going to them..As a source I have the JVC double din touch screen, Bluetooth, sirius sat radio, blue leds that light up the amps at night when you pop the hatch.....So adding wire is not a big deal. I wanted more than a sub in the hatch because you get exactly that sub in the hatch sound. I cut the floor foam for the battery up front and the 4 channel amp under the seat...it worked real well...So adding wire is not a big deal. The wire length is never an issue in a car...the only wire length that you should be careful about is the ground. Never run a ground long....I keep my ground less than 18 inches. The cube is very short so taking the power to the hatch still makes it shorter than an average vehicle. I wanted more than a sub in the hatch because you get exactly that(Plus you can't get 3 12" in a hatch with proper air)...I wanted to put the amp in the hatch because that space is basically wasted and I wanted something different...
As a side note...the switch for the hatch that turns the lights on is a switch ground not a switch positive...I extended the ground over for the leds for the amps
