Just got my new issue of AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE today and....................finally, an article on the Cube was included. Page #44. It's not a big article, but sure made my day !! Maybe now that it is definitely on the way, more articles will start appearing. They are also speculating on the 1.8 liter motor. If they put THAT in there the little bastard is gonna fly !!!!!!!!!!! I still think 1.5 would do with the right gearing. Still would like to see a 6 speed with buckets (at least I THINK I would). A 1.8 may lower the fuel mileage and make it nose-heavy. Still hoping for them to stick closely to the present design too. After all this waiting and scouring the internet for info for the last 2 years, I sure hope they don't ruin my day with an overgrown version minus the features that make the CUBE a CUBE. If they change too much about it the "coolness factor" will suffer. If they get it right, they might blow everyone else out of the water.....

Cool, thanks for sharing. 1.8L huh? Yeah, it will definately fly if they keep the size and weight the same. 8) Those handles above the doors will come in handy so you can hang on for dear life while sliding across the bench seats when zipping around town. ;D

Just checking in to see any replies, find out if anyone ran out to buy a copy of Automible Magazine. My subject line was supposed to say "article ON 2009 Cube". Should have proofread it twice. ::) Regarding the handles comment.............yeah, we may have to velcro our a***s to the seats !! Geez !! BTW......does anyone else think the wheels they always show on the Cube resemble manhole covers or cast aluminum waffles?? They definitely need different wheels !! Hope if anyone else comes across any articles, ya post them so we can all slobber over 'em. ;D
