Are there more male or female Cube owners

My 27-year-old nephew seems to think that the Cube is a girl's car. I think there are more guys that own them, so I thought I'd poll people on this forum to find out.

Forums tend to me mostly male anyway, so this survey may not be accurate.
Except for diet sites I have never seen this many females in a forum

And of those they usually get hosed down with testosterone.
Then I can tell my nephew that I did a survey and there were 3x as many male Cube owners, who cares if the results are slightly inaccurate. ;)

Well I would say let a few more people vote up but I don't this ratio would change much.
i'm a girl...despite the name! ;)

i've noticed that there are quite a few ladies here, more than you usually see on a car forum, but dudes nonetheless outnumber us considerably. i would love to see some actual demographics (collected by nissan) about cube owners!

I wasn't going to out you, but its nice to see  and I totally agree with you. The Fit is the same way, it started out a girl car but then it changed. The forum ratio was kinda the same too, mostly guys.

SO at this moment the poll is 12 to 4, fractions says the answer is 1/3rd

Um you poor males? What!!

I would say us poor girls, and this forum is out of whack as most forums would be more like 1/12th.

From what I've seen and read the Cube has broad based appeal to all demographics. Just look at the age poll. Unique, Practical, Economical, Fun to Drive and Loaded with Potential for the Modders. Your nephew shouldn't judge the Cube by its cover  .......although I kinda like the cover. 8)
My point was this is a forum about a car we all like. Not one about taking sides or someone getting hosed down with annything. Why toss out the negative comment about males and hosing down women on the forum. There is no value in it. If we are going to discuss demographics of buyers for the cube and what could have made it more appealing to men or women then lets do it. But negative comments about men hosing women down on the forum because there are more men who own the cube is a vey myopic view and not a good topic.
Red, I read CKs post as a compliment to this forum vs others. 8)

There fixed it for ya 8)
CK, No problemo, as they say in Mexico when they run you over....I knew you could square it (nice Cube reference) :D on your own but I couldn't let this one go.

Hope you are ok Red. 8)
I'm fine. CK did not have to "fix it for ya" becauuse of me. We are all entitled to our opinions. I just thought we were here to share our enthusiasim for the cube.
I think this needs to float back up as we seem to have a large number of new female members, a huge number actually! I am amazed and glad to see it! Post up ladies.
Well if you take a close look at who's buying the cube, ladies 40+ are the top buyers. But as in most automotive related forums, males are the stronghold. Men tend to talk more about car related things than ladies do. Men also like to show off their skills and talents and brag about our accomplishments. Not that the ladies aren't as good or qualified, they're just a bit more subtle about car issues. Most ladies put gas in and drive, enjoying the whole thing. Personally I would like to see more ladies active in this mostly male thing. My favorite Funny car driver is Ashley Force Hood, and I love the color pink. I'm also very secure in my own masculinity thing as are my wife and kids, I just love to see women kick butt in what is traditionally a male environment. - Dan
It's funny, the other DD in our house is the Acura RSX, and that's totally a dude car. When I'm driving that one I usually get stares from other RSX drivers because they're not sure how to take it.

The cube seems to break some boundries of girl/guy car. Most of the other cube drivers I've seen in S. TX are guys, most of them very laid back kind of folks. Most of the other cubes I've seen also do not have the amount of mods done on them that mine has on it. And I've done most of those myself, along with a little help from my RSX driving dude.
