Antenna question: The Cube has a two-wire plug for the antenna. The adaptor I got with the Pioneer has the standard round antenna connection, plus a blue wire. Where does that blue wire connect?

What does your Pioneer radio manual say about it?

PS -- My guess is the blue wire is for "extending" a retracting antenna. It could be that it provides +12V all the time, or just a short time -- don't know, but you can determine that yourself with a voltmeter or possibly from the manual description. If all the time, it could be used to power your antenna amplifier. If not, you'll have to use the same power source you use to feed the HU -- not the always on, but the accessory on, like with the camera.

OK. Got it. The blue wire from the antenna adaptor goes to the blue Pioneer wire that controls the power antenna (which the Cube doesn't have). The power from this blue wire will power the antenna amplifier.

Thanks,
Jerry
