hey all,

my name is Timmy, i'm 21, and i currently own a 2005 Scion xB with way too much money sunk into it.
but i was in a car accident a few years ago, and have a fake knee, and can't drive a stick anymore, and need something cool, small, and automatic, and reliable, and am going to be getting a cube when they come out for the 45 mile one way commute to culinary school. i'm totally disillusioned with the scion community, and the company itself, the "new" xB is a fat shadow of itself, and not to mention overpriced.

toyota reliability is junk, and something as simple as an intake, exhaust and header voids the powertrain warranty when the timing chain snaps at 50,000 miles... can't wait to have the chain replaced and trade this polished turd in on my cube.

here's a pic of my "baby"

can't wait till april, and can't wait to get to know you guys!

anyone?
Hello Scion Guy turned into Cubist,

Cool baby u have there. Firstly, welcome to another square side! ;)he he.
SO u r waiting for the new Cube to arrive. Why dont you get the 04/05 Cube instead?
Personally, the new Cube looks like a melting Cube and lost its cubeness. But, the interior is quite nice.

Dun forget to post ur new cube ok.

I like the shout out to Grandma. That 4runner doesn't sound like too bad a way to wait it out. And to bad on the xB I hadn't heard people being unhappy with the quality B4. Are you gonna be able to save those rims or are they going with the xB?

The 4Runner's alright - just bad on gas and a total pain to manuver around... as for the xB, it's not THAT bad, i just seem to have bad luck with modified cars, this would be the 2nd xB i've had major catastrophic problems with, and dealing with Toyota and their powertrain warranty is a joke.

The König Unknown rims are long gone, they're on my buddy's heavily modded 1987 Jetta Coupe, it's riding on 15 inch Scion EM7's now.
Sucks dude. My 2006 xB has been trouble free at almost 40,000 miles & I plan on driving it to 1,000,000 miles on the original engine, but then again, it's not modded nor do I race it. That's what my NA8C & P10 are used for. (^o^ ) <3

Hopefully you have better luck with the Cube. (^_^ )
The Scion is super reliable..and just because I want a Cube it doesn't negate the 110,000 miles or so of stellar highly modded service my XB gave me so far ;D
