I remember I did this in my old car, the stock headunit sucked, so I put in an Alpine HU and the stock speakers were actually ok with some tuning. Can anyone tell me how the Cube is with a better HU?

I have the non rockford setup, but the setup with the factory tweeters. I have a super monster system from my old old car, but I probably wont put it in the Cube, just the HU.

Sure if it matches up to the speakers why not. I can check tomorrow but I'm pretty sure the door speakers are [email protected] I'm assuming that is not rms but peak.

2-Ohms Really? Stocks not 8-Ohms? That really surprises me.

I just checked them this morning to make sure. The backs are marked 2ohm 40W max / 20W nom.

2 ohm is common in OEM applications these days.

The stock speakers listed the information on the back of the speaker. The RFs might list the info in the same spot. If you do end up pulling them please post the info on the forum so others can find it. Thank you.

Ok while still trying to get the fosgate sub amp to turn on I yanked off the back panel

the Sub had a sticker on it with specs

120 Wmax
80 Wrms
.6 ohms
