This past weekend we took a 446 mile trip (round trip) with my Cube.

Left Friday afternoon at 4:00pm and didn't arrive until 9:30pm.
Traffic was at a crawl several times on the way up, so the trip that normally takes us 3 and a half hours took 5 and a half hours.

Average speed on the highways was around 75 mph and got about 32 mpg (according to the trip computer).

This was our first long trip in the Cube and I have to say it was able to hang with all of the other cars on the road. I thought the ride was rather smooth and fairly quiet.

No issues with any rocks hitting my windshield, which was one of my concerns on the trip. I thought for sure I'd get a chip and then a crack, but the only thing I hit was about a gazillion bugs, some really nasty juicy ones!

The trip back took us only 4 hours, so that was more in line with what we normally expect on the trip. I didn't have any wind issues, and didn't feel like I was being blown around in the car. I felt safe and secure in the Cube.

I was able to pack my wife, our 9 year old, two luggage bags and two full backpacks and still had room for a forth person to sit in the car.

Overall it was a good trip and I'm glad I took it in the Cube!

On the trip, I saw one white Cube, I was on an overpass in Janesville, WI, and the Cube was on a street in Janesville sitting at a stoplight.

When we were at my parents house, my mom said she saw a green Cube and a blue Cube pass their house on Saturday. I didn't see any others though on the entire trip.

I'm always looking for Kia Soul's as well, because my friend has one, and I was surprised I only saw 3 on the entire trip, since they have sold so many in the US, I thought I'd see more.

I did notice a ton of Scion xB's (old and new model) on the trip. I lost count of them after I saw 10 of them in one day!

In my town, Scions are a dime a dozen. I never liked their styling (or lack of) and got car sick the one time I drove one.

We also have five Souls. Mostly green. They look okay in person.
