Intermittent stalling after braking

Once in a while, my daughter's 2009 Cube SL will staff after braking. Sometimes it's during hard brakes, sometimes regular stops. It doesn't matter how fast she's going. At times it starts back up fine. Sometimes it's a rough start.

Amy ideas? I've scoured the internet and there does seem to be a theme with carious Nissan models, but I don't see much about the Cube doing this, or a good resolution. I'm about to get a fuel system cleaning at Firestone, clean the MAF sensor and have Nisstech Nissan Specialists have the car "re-learn" the idle (they suggested this).

This is extremely annoying for me as my daughter lives 4 hours away and still in college. It's a huge safety hazard.

BTW - we bought this Cube with 80K from the original owner that kept meticulous records of all services at her local Nissan dealership. Unfortunately, we've had nothing but issues with various check engine lights to this. The expensive repair had something to do with th timing chain. Thank God we bought the extended warranty! There have been over $2,200 in repairs!

Any thoughts on the stalling issue? Thanks
