12 volt Outlets

For some reason, Nissan chose to put only one 12v outlet in the Cube. I went to Radio Shack and bought a couple more and then began looking for somewhere to install them. It was not easy finding a location with enough room behind it for the socket, but I finally found two, one front and one rear. The front one is on top of the center console, to the rear of the parking brake. The rear one was easier - on the left side next to the panel for the shock absorber nut. I ran separate wires to a 6-fuse panel I installed below the dash, so now I have three separate power outlets. Whoopee!

Re: 12 volt Outlets

That is GREAT! I have no idea why Nissan cheaped out on this issue. My old Suburban had it right - 3 up front, one in the middle, and one near the rear door.

Very clean install. I need to add one to the rear for the rear-facing camera. Thanks!
