On my drive home tonight, we had 8" of snow fall and I had to turn off my tcs just to get moving. After several miles of wheels spinning the engine just quit revving up and I didn't have any power. The Cube just made a popping noise. I shut it off and restarted it and all was well again for several more miles. It got so bad that everytime I had to stop I shut the engine off. Stupid Snow......
Any ideas as to what is going on. The car runs correctly now so hopefully it will keep going until I take it into the dealer and have them check it out.
Oh and by the way my abs light is now constantly on but I don't get any check engine codes.

After I was able to drive the box on dry roads the abs/tcs lights went off and the box seems fine. Of course they are saying that we might get another 8 to 15 inches of snow on Monday/Tuesday so I will see if it has the same problems again. By the way driving home in the heavy snow I used 6 gallons of fuel since I just filled up before work that morning.

Nope just the stock ones which suck in the snow. Keeping in mind that over the last few years we haven't had more than a couple of inches fall at once, unlike the 8 to 12 inches that fell in just a few hours.
