Was outside temps really cold?

Do you know if the dealership checked the Altenator to see if it's charging correctly?

Also did they see if one of the terminals are loose?

But there could be a number of things that could cause this like some of the things I asked. Or it could just be a faulty battery.

What did the dealership say? Did they run that charge test on the battery? If not, you can take it to Autozone and they will test if for free.

the battery on my nissan allways check bad. I take both of my nissans (versa&cube) to a oil change place and the mechanic allways tell me the battery bad. I had both battery check at the dealership (coupon on free battery check) both batterys are with in specs, not bad.  your battery in your cube was discharge probably because it was on the dealership lot for a while not driving or the cold caused the battery to be low. my versa nissan battery is still going after three yrs.

Also Buffalo born and bread - in OH now. Grin

West Herr is great, my folks owned a Ford Dealership in Arcade for MANY years.

Our Cube did the same thing with the factory battery.  Let it sit for more than a day in the cold and it needs jumped.  Starts right up after that and so long as it isn't parked for more that 36 hours.

New battery from Autozone fixed the problem.

We had cold weather like -11 F last week and mine started like a champ without hesitation. It got to be goddamn cold to make the battery let you down to make start the car. And if it's something we got up here in Quebec it's very cold weather in winter, I've maybe, since 1997 on all my cars, maybe had to boost 2 or 3 times...

I would believe you may not find your issue regarding cold weather for your battery.
