Does anyone have any input regarding this, I was going to get rid of my stock rotors and replace them with some aftermarket ones made by EBC, I talked to one of my other buddies and he said I should stay with factory rotors but I don't know difference it would make.

Here is what I was looking at

I just wanted some input on the subject.

I've used EBC rotors and pads in the past with good results.

Stay with some plains rotors(replacement rotors) if you won't go to the track at all with the cube. Besides, crossdrilled rotors won't give you better braking performance at all on daily driving street usage and will only end you cost more in the end.

True, on a Cube getting any exspensive rotor like those cross drilled ones would be a waste.

But the OEM rotors from Nissan are pricey. They're roughly $96 each.

Or you can get the EBC OEM replacement rotors for roughly $84 each.

A little cheaper here at $75 each.. Wink

The reason I'm asking is just that... The dealership rips people off badly and though my work I get a 30 - 40% discount off at Lordco. SO I could just go down and get the parts though them I was looking at Hawks too they seem to be a good brand.

Go for it then. The premium stage 1 kit will be just fine. And if you get that 30-40% discount it won't cost you that much.

But like I wrote, don't waste money on cross drill rotors if you're only going to daily drive the cube. Plus, cross drilled rotors eat pads faster too.

I would stay with standard rotors, The rotors that are cross drill crack around the hole after awhile. As for the sloted rotors they tend to eat more brake pad. If you go to ebc for your brakes, used the red pads instead of the green pads.. the red pads have a little more bite. The red pads take a little more breaking in time to seat. I have been using ebc brakes pads and rotors for all my vehicles thur the years.
