i have tried to remove the rear seat  but failed to do it-

I see 2 bolts on the back of the seat, and when i tried to untighten them with an allen welch the bolts wont bulge at all..

I dont see the 2 bolts at the front, they seem to be inside a plastic cover?

All in all is it even that easy to remove the seats? Is this safe?

By looking at the FSM, it seems like just the four bolts. The two front ones are in fact under the plastic pieces.

Check it out for yourself here. Go to the SE.PDF and go to page 16. Wink

Yup, that is what I've removed to get mine off the cube. It's kinda of very easy to get it out. Get some help to get it out too, it is heavy.

Yeah WD-40 is just a lubricating oil. You need something like PB Blaster which is a penetrating oil. Try that and let it soak in for a while, then tap the bolt head and try it.

Mine stayed into the bench. Why do you need to take it out? Switching bench color I must assume?

I find a bolt right under the rear seats that is connected to the center seatbelt- if i remove the bolt it will disconnect it. Is this what you guys did?

Well no. When I took mine off, it was to clean the carpet since it was smelling like gas because my dealer changed the sender unit of the fuel pump. I didn't have to take the belt off at all from the bench.

I didn't have to. The knuckle of the center belt stayed in the bench. I only took out 4 nuts and it was free. I took it out alone with no problem.

That is the center buckle. All cube got it. I left it in the rear seat. Didn't have to took it out when I've took out my seat. It wasn't bolt to the floor either.

If you have to take out the seat, leave it there, it will fellow with everything.
