Miles per Gallon so far?

yo poeple! i have had mine for a year now, and i get 29-30 to and from work. mostly highway and a little town. i did a 16 state 5000 mile road trip and it was about 27 avg. but that was haulin ass all day. never under 85. i love dice'in it up with a bemmer now and then lol. you must rember that your drivin a box that has a windshield flater that a jeep, so if you drive mostly town and dont smoke every other car thats givin you the box car stare you can get 32-34. but what fun is that

After about 8,800 miles, it's averaged 30.73 mpg.

Did this week a 500km of highway only. Cold weather, strong wind, 2 passengers in the cube, did only 7.5L/100km or 31.3 MPG.

I don't know who that publish was instructed to KC but I will response for myself. I used 20 ladies of petrol give  or take a 10th or two on my 625 kilometer vacation. I did not buy my dice because of the revealed usage and don't health care much either way, I completely anticipate to listen to a lot of different reviews of usage.

Suffice it to say after 21,000 miles, we don't see what all the fuss is about re: Cubes not being fuel-efficient.

hi, just completed a 3000 mi. trip to calif and back to home - alamogordo, n.m. cube is 2010 s
model. total miles are 25000. just one in cube with luggage for two weeks. speed was 70 mph on freeways and 5 over on state roads. had headwinds going west - normal and tailwinds going
east. average mpg on whole trip was 31.3. calulate with trip A, fillup and use caluator for mileage. i'm happy, btw cube was a ball to drive and i sure like that bluetooth while driving.
drove between 600-800 miles per day. great trip. left my 07 honda odyssey at home also a great auto.

I have a 2010 SL and I do mostly city driving, giving me about 25.3 mpg. I fill up every 9 days or so. Love it!

I've got about 1400 mi on my 2012 1.8S, the computer seems to have settled at 28.9 on about 90% city driving.  It does jump up if I'm on the highway for a while (and drops back down when my leadfoot wife uses it).

2010 S, Stock except a K&N air filter.  The "Computer" on the Cube says my average is 36.9 MPG.  I write down the miles/fuel at the pump and the average I calculated in 6 fill ups was 36.7.  

Now let me explain my driving habits:

I drive to work 25 miles one way.  I have 6 stops on the trip (maybe a couple more depending on lights at end of trip).  So I consider my drive to and from work 90% highway miles.  I take country roads 3/4 of the way and a highway the last 1/4.  I leave about 6am.  Most of the year it is dark and have to watch out for a lot of deer in/near the road.  There is hardly anyone ever on the road.   The 3/4 of the way on the country roads, I drive mostly 45 mph to work and 50 mph on my way home (more anxious to get home).  The 1/4 of highway road, I drive 50-55 mph, depending on traffic behind me.  The rest of my non-work trip driving is short drives around town running errands.

The Cube "computer" say my average speed is 30 mph.  Considering the above, that is probably true.  I know the "Live" MPG while driving seems wacky.  Going 45 with 1500 RPMs I've seen it say 60 MPG.  Then it will jump all over the map to say 40s.   That being said, I still believe the 36.9 MPG to be pretty accurate being the average of my hand calculation comes up the same.

So the moral of the story is, if you have the luxury of leaving for work a little early and open roads with no disgruntled drivers behind you     and mosey along at 45 MPH, you could get some more MPG.

Thought I'd weigh in with my cube's fuel economy...



That's about 30.8 MPG average.  It doesn't look great, but considering half the year I'm on winter tires, I'm satisfied.  In the summer I average 33-34 MPG.
