Installing Ultra Racing 16mm rear sway bar. What do I need to know?

What do I need to know before I kill myself accidentially

I have never installed a sway bar in my life I've only touch the front of the car as far as changing fluids and brakes.

any advice? thanks!

you will have some trouble with one of the coil spring cups (the rubber part) they got in the way for the nut a little bit.

just takes some maneuvering around the rubber edge to make it fit, other than that, its easy as pie to put on

i also reccommend using some thread lock (the blue kind) because the bolts they give you have a tendency to come loose

I have a milk truck.... err i mean cube

I have asked Ultra Racing about this. Be sure that they are getting real UR parts, since their price is wayyy too low. We are direct with Ultra Racing and they were not sure why their prices were so low. They are lower than our at cost price by quite a margin. Just a heads up. They could be real, who knows.

YEA I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING ! My brother had bought the sway bar from that website. I will take a picture of it . can you take a picture of the ones you stock at your shop so I can compare?

I usually buy from bean garage in the past but my brother ordered for me online and found that cheaper site.

I do not mind pay the difference if it is the real thing i rather not have a rusted broken in half sway bar after a year or so hanging from my car lol....

I'm not saying that the ones he has is fake. Ultra Racing has an authentication program here if you want to double check:

I hope for your sake is it real, and if it is, then more power to you! We simply can't compete on the price breaks if it is legit stuff.

Re: Installing Ultra Racing 16mm rear sway bar. What do I need to know?

I know this is a bit after the fact but just in case anyone finds this thing...

I checked out microimageonline regarding their sway and whether it is real or not. It in fact is. I contacted Ultra Performance directly and they answered that they are their distributor. So I went ahead and ordered it as the price was just too good. I also scored some Tokico Blues ($350) for my little guy that shall make a nice mix along with my already installed H&R springs.

If anyone finds this thread I hope that helps.
