front right ABS sensor connector - where is it?

Hi, where is the connector for the front right ABS sensor located (2010 Cube)? How do you gain access?

The cable from the sensor appears to disappear into Netherland behind the inside wheel well plastic covers and it does not appear to re-emerge anywhere.
And any advise on how to best loosen those plastic fasteners (keeping them alive in the process) on those inside wheel well covers?

Background: I recently destroyed my front right ABS sensor when replacing the Hub. The old (perfectly working) sensor would just not come out no matter what I tried. Had to drill it out in the end. The new one (on order) costs an arm and a leg compared to the Versa part (with however differing part number - I did not dare, but still could change my mind)

Do you have the pdf files of the service manual?
There's a drawing on page 109 of the BRC.pdf
Here's a screenshot of the image.

To get to it, the manual says to remove the fender protector, the black plastic part that is the wheel well.
1. Remove front tire.
2. Remove front fender protector fixing screws, bolts and clips.
3. Disengage fender clips and fender protector, and then remove fender protector,
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Thanks "place_desjardin". That's (your 3 posts) the answer. I should be able to get to it this weekend.
